Q: Can you recommend any courses, tutorials or software to get me started in search engine optimisation? First thing I would do is download a version of IBP - Internet Business Promoter. This is the SEO software that got me started.www.ibusinesspromoter.com/ Secondly, I would go out and buy a $60 iPod (or another type of MP3 player) and start downloading the podcasts from Webmaster Radio. There is some really great stuff in there about online marketing and SEO. If you have iTunes most of the shows are in the iTunes podcast directory. www.webmasterradio.fm/ The third thing I would do is subscribe to some blogs about SEO - SEOhub would be a good starting point! Should you want to learn about more advanced stuff, I would recommend the following blogs. (I would start up a bloglines account to make it easier and more time efficient to read these via rss.) www.wolf-howl.com www.mattcutts.com/blog www.seomoz.org/blog www.seobook.com/blog www.seobythesea.com/ Hope this helps! |
